The Paradise Planks Longboards
CLASSIC:
This shape is a throwback to the fifties. Thicker, wider, and more pronounced rails (50/50) gives this shape the most possible floatation and glide no matter the length.
SEMI- PROGRESSIVE:
This is a cross between the CLASSIC and PROGRESSIVE shapes. Thicker and wider than the PROGRESSIVE, but with less pronounced rails than the CLASSIC.
PROGRESSIVE:
Thinner, more narrow, and less prononced rails than the CLASSIC shape. Finished bpards are usually glassed thinner (single 4-oz). This is what most shortboarders get for their first longboard.
FATTAIL:
Want to catch a six-inch wave in two strokes? Then this may be the shape for you. Similar to the CLASSIC, but with an extra-wide tail for maximum wave catching on even the smallest days.

GUN:
A longboard with a shortboard shape (narrow and pointed). Comes in many lengths (Big Gun, Gun, Mini Gun).
