The Paradise Planks Shortboards
STANDARD:
A shortboard with a sharp nose and squash-tail.
SEMI- AGGRESIVE:
The bottom is similar to the standard board, but with two channels (one on either side of the center fin).
AGGRESSIVE:
The bottom is one large channel (no flats on this board). This gives the rails a sharper feel. Quicker and deeper on the turns, but a little tough getting up if you're not used to it.
This shape is generally for the more advanced shortboarder.
FISH:
Named for the tail of the board. With two tails, the board takes on the look of a fish. These are a little wider than your typical shortboard and are generally thicker.
EGG:
Picture an egg, now put that shape to a board. A wide, snub-nosed shortboard.
